Kidizoom Smartwatch by VTech Canada ~ Review

As summer is just flying along we have been working with both of our kids on reading, math, geography and other learning to keep their minds active while they are on summer break. One thing that we are really working on with our daughter, A, is how to tell time.

In the digital world there are many ways to teach children and have fun at the same time. The Kidizoom Smartwatch is one of those fun tools. It offers children a variety of ways to learn how to tell time. I love that they can easily switch back and forth from analog and digital. This has helped our daughter with learning analog time. If she is stuck we have taken a look at the digital face (with a touch of the screen) and then come back to analog to work out the "hands". A also loves the games and has been doing really well with them. You can also connect to the Learning lodge for more fun games.

The USB cord connects to recharge the watch but you can also upload photos, videos and sound clips. My daughter has fun with the sound as you can change up the voice once recorded. The videos only take short clips but it is still a fun function. We were away on a day trip and my daughter took a few photos. The pictures are better when taken in bright light and the subject is still but my daughter has tons of fun with it. Fun frames can also be added when taking a photo.
