My Thoughts:
I was super excited to get a chance to receive this book in exchange for
an honest review as I loved the Easy Bake Oven going up and the Author
is local to me!
This is a must read for any toy collector or Easy
Bake Oven fan. I didn't know much about the history of this very loved
toy. I knew it had been around for years but this book gave me a lot of
information and insight into the development, marketing, and the changes
over 50 years! Did you know that Kenner Products was the patent of the
Original Easy Bake Oven? I didn't and I didn't know that it came out in
1963 and sold over 500,000 in the first year! It is amazing to see all
the different changes to the oven over the years and how it went from
having a light bulb or 2 to not having one.
This book is a keeper for the book shelve and a great conversation piece.
