We recently had the chance to check out the new Kraft Pourables Fruit & Veg salad dressing in four fabulous flavors - Garlic Parmesan with Roasted Cauliflower, Berry Balsamic, Fire Roasted Tomato with Basil and Roasted Yellow Pepper with Garlic and Lime. These new Kraft Fruit & Veg dressings are made with real fruits & vegetables and give a great bold fresh taste to anything you may add it to, from salads, mashed potatoes to roasted almonds and chicken.
Kraft Pourables Fruit & Veg salad dressings contain no artificial flavors and colors, with low fat and salt, each between 25-30 calories per serving.
The kids are not huge salad fans but we use dressings in other ways and we were excited to see some tasty looking recipes on the side of the bottles. We tried the Garlic Parmesan with Roasted Cauliflower in mashed potatoes for our ham meal, this is a thumbs up from everyone in the family. You could taste the garlic and Parmesan but I didn't taste cauliflower. This dressing has been added to our list of add-ins we love in our mashed potatoes. A great way to spruce up your dinner.
Roasted berry almonds were quick and easy to make and made a great afternoon snack for the kids and I. I wish I had a photo for the roasted berry almonds but I don't really know where I was on that one we devoured the bowl before I even thought of the camera, oops!
We also tried the Roasted Yellow Pepper with Garlic and Lime over oven baked chicken with rice and veggies. Super easy to make, just place chicken in a casserole dish and pour dressing on top and bake like usual.
The Fire Roasted Tomato with Basil mixed with some sour cream made a delicious veggie drip for the kids to pack in their lunch, great for a BBQ or picnic lunch. It has a bit of bite but not too much that my son wouldn't eat it. He isn't into spicy foods at all.
We are very happy with the new Kraft Fruit & Veg dressings and can't wait to use them in more recipes in the coming months, especially with BBQ weather fast appoaching.
