When I think of Valentine's Day, I think of flowers, chocolate, a lovely dinner with my man with some nice music playing in the background. What I usually get these days? Kids running around, pup needing tons of attention and my man hopefully being home in time to have a nice family dinner together.
This year I will be sending both kids off to school and settling back with some great tunes and my netbook to work on some fun upcoming blog posts.
What will be on my Valentine's Day tunes list?
The new Safe Haven soundtrack which was just recently released February 5th, 2013. The movie will be out on Valentine's day!
Take a look at the music video below and decide for yourself.
This isn't the only good song on the soundtrack. This is a great album to put on during a romantic dinner/evening with your other half. It is filled with great soft tunes that are both catchy and soothing, very romantic, with great lyrics. I love "Wrap your arms around me", just something about Gareth Dunlops voice along with the lyrics.
Here is the full listing:
- Colbie Caillat featuring Gavin DeGraw- "We Both Know"
- Tristan Prettyman- "Say Anything"
- Ben Howard- "Keep Your Head Up"
- Dar Williams- "Summer Child"
- The White Buffalo- "Sleepy Little Town"
- Gareth Dunlop- "Wrap Your Arms Around Me"
- Sara Haze- "Moonshine"
- FM Radio- "The Journey"
- Brandi Carlile- "Heart's Content" (Strings Mix)
- Amos Lee- "Violin"
- The Deep Dark Woods- "My Baby's Got To Pay The Rent"
- Deborah Lurie- "Canoeing" (Katie and Alex's Theme)
- Lissie - Go Your Own Way (This is an iTunes Bonus)
Will you be heading out to the movie this week or picking up the album? What songs will you put on your Valentine's Day tune list?
