In the winter we all seem to use lip balm or chapstick. When summer comes along a lot of people stop using it but this is a good time to continue to moisturize your lips and also use some with SPF if you will be in the sun all day. I use lip balm all the time and have just recently had the change to try out the new Softlips Maxilips and Nourish line.
Both Maxilips and Nourish are made with Shea Butter Oil, Vitman E and Macadamia nut oil. The are Cruetly and Gluten Free. The Maxilips has a patent dual layer formula which includes the inner layer of anti-oxident Coenzyme Q10 to slow the aging of skin. The outer layer of Ceramide locks in the moisture. Maxilips helps reduce wrinkles and fine lines. It contains no colourants, fragrance or preservatives.
The Nourish line contains moisturizing Lipidure Technology provides moisture and protection by drawing moisture from the air and locking it into your lips. There has been recent studies show that Lipidure Technology has higher moisture attracting and retention capabilities than hyaluronic acid, which is commonly found in other lip care products. Softlips Nourish is filled with natural replenishing ingredients.
Available in Nourish line: Cool Peppermint, Moist Bergamot and Fresh Lavender
My thoughts: When I received the package of lip balms I was sort of not sure of the Lavender but the first time I tried it I really liked it. Something about putting Lavender on my lips was a weird thought. It wasn't how I imagined it at all. A light smell of lavender. I love the Bergamot the best out of the three. It has the best for smell/flavour but all the balms are great for moisture. I have really liked how much the Maxilips has moisturized my lips. There are no smells or taste with it so it is great for anyone looking for a plain moisture balm. We are outside a lot in the summer and the sun can take a lot of moisture out of my lips. This has been a great balm to keep them moisturized.
