I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! Yesterday it was nice and sunny here, not too hot also. We or should I say I decided it was time to get some yard work completed. I had the kids helping with cleaning the patio, pulling weeds while I cleaned up garbage that was left in the yard from work in our duplex apartment,and cut some of the back yard grass.
My helpers in the garden getting it ready for our veggie plants that we picked up yesterday. We have a variety of tomatoes- Tiny Tim's, Roma Plum, Better Boy and Supersonic along with cauliflower, cucumbers, and celery. Yes I did get carried away for our small yard but I will be bringing some Tiny Tim's to work for the ladies I support who want balcony tomatoes.
My kids love growing tomatoes every year, it has sort of became a tradition over the last few summers. This year we decided to see if we can grow the other veggies in a big planter box on our patio. P has also asked to go back to the garden store and buy some flowers for us to plant. We may just make a trip there today.
