Biking is great for your health and also for the environment. Also I love to get out and just bike with no where I need to get too just tour around and have fun. There are a lot of rules of the road that still need to be followed as a cyclist to make it a safe activity.
This video is from the USA but we also have laws in Ontario Canada that bicyclist have to abide by.
Did you know that in Ontario lights and a bell are mandatory on your bike?
- Lights
- a bike must have a white front light and a red rear light or reflector if you ride between 1/2 hour before sunset and 1/2 hour after sunrise and white reflective tape on the front forks and red reflective tape on rear forks. Set fine: $20.00
- Bell
- a bike must have a bell or horn in good working order. Set fine: $85.00
