I have talked about selling handmade for years. First it was clips, barrettes and handbands, then it was ragged quilts or tutus. That all it was, just talk. I think I feared more of failing so I never tried. Now that I have been blogging a year I have again decided I should and sell some handmade items. I am going to start with clips and handbands and expand. If people request things I will likely expand faster :)

I figured what better time to open an Etsy shop but my One year Blogoversary! With the opening of my shop (please bear with me as I set up shop this week) and my Blogoversary I thought I would have a giveaway!

    I follow with GFC and we don't really have any firm plans yet for Canada Day. Although I suspect we'll be waving Canada flags and wearing goofy Canada shirts:) My daughter is extremely patriotic. Maybe a picnic lunch will be in order if the weather is any good:)

    our plans are to go for a picnic ,maybe go to one of the provincial parks (which is free on canada day) and of course watch the fireworks
